I crave narrative. Having studied film, my passion for cinematography and storytelling continues to influence my portrait work. Whether taking a portrait of a real person or a made up character, I go into the shoot with the aim of telling a visual story of my subject.

 Lover of colour, I turn to the masters of colour; filmmakers Pressburger and Powell and photographer Saul Leiter for inspiration.

 From Oxford, UK, but now based in the curious center of Europe; Brussels, Belgium

 I shoot both stills and motion on location across Europe and further a field or in my studio in Scharbeek, Brussels.
